Your Guide to Winter Wellbeing in Cornwall

Did you know that you can get support to keep your home warm this winter?
Cornwall Council and 30 partner organisations have launched a Winter Wellbeing Programme.

You can call 0800 954 1956 for advice and support on a number of subjects such as home insulation, switching energy tariffs and how to get emergency funds if you are vulnerable and can’t afford to heat your home.

Over the last 4 years the Winter Wellbeing Programme has supported over 10,400 homes. Last year alone, over 1400 homes received support and 250 households were given emergency assistance to heat their homes.

As well as keeping homes warm, the Winter Wellbeing Programme aims to improve emotional wellbeing by reducing the stress associated with fuel poverty.
Winter Wellbeing Guides, which contain practical advice on how to make your home warmer and healthier, are available from Doctor’s surgeries, One Stop Shops, Libraries, Health Centres, Dentists and Chemists.
